Reliable Safety Systems, Inc. was started in February of 1996 by company President Rich Trevelise. Rich started in the alarm industry in 1984. During that time, Rich worked his way up from a helper, to installer, to project management for a number of companies working locally, nationally and overseas.
Reliable Safety Systems, Inc., as with many companies, started out from the home. We have grown steadily over the years and are now located in a 3000 square foot office building in The Lakewood Industrial Park in Lakewood, NJ. Every year, Reliable Safety Systems, Inc. has grown its business to meet the needs of its current customers while continuing to build relationships with new customers.
Reliable Safety Systems, Inc. and its staff are always ready to handle large or small projects. On many occasions, we receive calls to service a system that others are unable to repair. Reliable Safety Systems, Inc. has been the company that has come into these jobs and resolved the problems that others could not repair.
Reliable Safety Systems, Inc. has always been there to give back and support the alarm industry. Reliable Safety Systems, Inc. had the privilege of being the "Alarm Dealer of the Year' two years in a row in 2004 and 2005 from the New Jersey Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NJBFAA).
Within the NJBFAA, Rich has served as Chairman of the Education Committee, Regional Secretary, Vice President and President. Rich is currently the Immediate Past President of the Association and is still very involved in many aspects to serve its members in the alarm industry and consumers. Rich also maintains a NICET Level III Fire Alarm Certification and is a licensed NJ ICS Fire Inspector.
